Q1:これまでどのような業務に携わってきたか?
レノバに入社する前は、EPC(設計・調達・建設)会社に勤務し、石炭火力発電所や陸上・洋上風力発電所プロジェクトにおけるEPC業務を担当していました。プロジェクトのスケジュール、予算、建設管理業務の経験はありましたが、事業開発の経験は全くありませんでした。
しかし、レノバ入社後は、再生可能エネルギーの事業開発に携わることとなりました。当初、RRK(Renova Korea)は洋上風力発電プロジェクトの開発が中心でしたが、最近では陸上風力発電や太陽光発電プロジェクトの開発にも注力しています。
また、2023年4月から韓国のカントリーヘッドとしてRRK組織を運営しています。
Q2:レノバを選んだ理由は?
私は2020年5月にレノバに入社しました。2021年10月に一度退職し、2022年1月に再入社しています。
最初の入社当時は会社についてあまりよく知りませんでしたが、レノバの財務諸表を見て、財務力がしっかりしている会社だと感じていました。
少人数(入社当時はRRKに私を含め2名、東京GB【グローバルビジネス】部門に3名)であっても高い成果を出せると思っていましたが、別の外資系(欧州系)企業で短期間(3ヶ月)働いた後、改めてレノバの良さをはっきりと認識することができたのです。それがレノバに戻って来た理由です。
Q3:レノバの特徴は?
私が考えるレノバの強みは、次の通りです。
1つ目は、 機敏な組織運営です。経営陣との自由なコミュニケーションが可能で、経営陣の意見を直接確認することができます。2つ目は、 チームワークが非常に良いことです。全員がプロジェクトの成功のために最善を尽くしています。3つ目は、柔軟性があるため、プロジェクトの新規開拓がしやすい点です。なぜならレノバは最大株主であることにこだわらないからです。
4つ目は、 迅速な意思決定が可能であることです。承認手続きは多くないと思います。
5つ目は、 歩みを止めず、あらゆる面で発展を続けている点です。
