Overview of Business
As a field engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will perform repairs, periodic inspections, delivery, sales promotion of customer service items, and customer training for our analyzers.
Business Content
Perform on-site analyzer inspection, repair, and delivery. Manage clerical tasks and respond to customer inquiries for pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers in Japan.
Required Experience/Skills
Must possess the ability to engage in direct and indirect communication with pertinent individuals both within and outside the organization.
General computer knowledge.
Must possess a standard driver's license and drive a car daily.
Ability to read manuals in English. It may be necessary to make inquiries in English to overseas factories.
Desirable Experience/Skills
Experience as an analytical instrument service engineer or in application support.
Previous work background in pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing facilities or research institutions, along with proficiency in operating laboratory equipment.
