CMO Office is responsible for Rakuten' s marketing strategy making and capability building in marketing area for further growth of Rakuten group.

- A person who is willing to enhance marketing skills and experience utilizing huge data of various Rakuten services
- A person who has experience of customer support and wants to improve services based customers' needs etc.
You can challenge marketing activities from strategy planning to execution for dominant services in Japan such as Rakuten Ichiba, Rakuten Card and Rakuten Mobile and for overseas group services as well.
Position Details
As a member of a strategy planning team directly under CMO, you take an important role to clarify an important marketing issue of Rakuten Group, make strategy and plan marketing actions. You will also implement the actions collaborating other departments under Marketing Division and marketing teams of major Rakuten services.
If you don't have enough experience of data analysis, our specialists support you to learn necessary skills and knowledge at first.
Mandatory Qualifications
- University graduates or more
- More than 2 years working experience
- More than 2 years working experience of Sales, IT/business consulting or marketing
Desired Qualifications
- Sales experience of business planning/a solution/consultation
- Industrial experience in an industry where Rakuten provides a service such as EC, Ad, Fin-tech, etc.
- Experience as a project member (project leader is more preferred)
- Digital marketing experience such as marketing research, data analysis, internet ad and so on
- Experience of negotiation and arrangement between stakeholders
- Ability to visualize goals with numbers and run PDCA cycle to achieve them
- Ability to negotiate/arrangement with internal/external stakeholders and to build a good team
- Flexibility to environmental changes
