Role Overview
As a Marketing Research Consultant, you will deliver advanced marketing research solutions by integrating big data with Insight's attitudinal data.
You will work with leading manufacturers, media companies, advertising agencies, and consulting firms to solve marketing challenges through data-driven analysis and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities 1. Client Engagement & Proposal DevelopmentStrengthen relationships with existing client departments and propose research/data solutions.
Conduct outreach to new divisions and introduce Insight's capabilities.
Develop proposals such as:
Online advertising effectiveness measurement
Data integration between client systems and Insight
Audience profiling of owned media
- Project Management
Work closely with directors and researchers to manage project scope and quality.
Coordinate estimates, scheduling, documentation, and client communication.
Oversee outsourcing costs, internal approvals, and billing tasks.
- Operational Improvement & Value Creation
Drive team collaboration and initiatives that elevate Insight's service value.
Contribute ideas and solutions based on client needs and market trends.
Work Environment
Career growth opportunities into roles like Marketing Researcher or Data Analyst.

Requirements – Must-Have
5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in intangible services.
Strong communication skills (clear, logical speaking and writing).
Proven project management experience in any domain.
Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ideal Candidate Traits
Strong ownership and accountability.
Results-driven with a disciplined approach to achieving targets.
Ability to hypothesize, analyze, and execute PDCA cycles.
Familiarity with fundamental marketing concepts (3C, 4P, STP).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Leadership, mentoring, or team management experience.
Experience in marketing research or supporting research projects.
Experience in data analysis or data-related projects.
Business-level Japanese proficiency.
English Requirement
TOEIC 800+ or equivalent English proficiency (e.g., an English-medium degree).
Proof required by offer stage.
If not available, a TOEIC IP test may be conducted during selection.
