Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a Japanese Language Teacher to provide customized in-person lessons to our clients in Osaka, Japan.
What We Offer
You will have an active and independent role as a language teacher.
Once onboarded, you'll have access to the teachers' platform and receive offers. With the assistance of your Talent Success Coach, you can accept the classes that match your schedule and preferences. You have complete control over the lessons you teach, and we don't require a minimum number of hours per week or month.
C192588 Position Details:
- Student: Individual class for a gentleman
- Lesson Frequency: 2x per week
- Availability: weekdays from 7 pm to 9 pm
- Lesson Duration: 2 hours per lesson
- Student's location: Oyodominami, Kita Ward, Osaka
- Student's language needs and goals: The student could speak some Japanese, probably at conversational level, he would like to start off first to be able to go to restaurants/shops and purchase things efficiently and then get to a level of proficiency where he can have some basic conversations with a stranger.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, tailored lessons that inspire and motivate students
- Design and implement customized curricula in alignment with learners' proficiency levels and objectives
- Track and assess student progress, guiding them to help them achieve their learning goals
- Communicate professionally and effectively with students, ensuring a positive learning environment
Qualifications:
- To have native or near-native proficiency in Japanese, both written and spoken.
- To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field.
- At least two years of Japanese language teaching experience
