In this position, you will support system and solution implementation initiatives by applying your scientific expertise, including advisory support, process assessment, and solution development. You will plan and execute data science engagements for customers, delivering analyses and presentations aligned with client expectations. You will establish and sustain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on scientific and technical matters. You will work closely with the Sales team to uncover new opportunities and contribute to commercial success. You will also communicate key learnings from customer projects to internal stakeholders such as Sales, Engineering, and Product teams.
Requirements
- An advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in bio informatics, data science, health sciences, or a related field, with a strong foundation in both computational and life sciences.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts clearly to diverse audiences in both Japanese and English.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or R, with substantial experience analyzing multi-omics, bio marker, imaging, and clinical data, ideally in a bio pharmaceutical research setting.
- Proven project management capabilities, with a track record of delivering high-quality results within agreed timelines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, both internally and externally.
- Native-level Japanese or JLPT N1 proficiency, along with business-level English.
