The Energy Data Scientist will work with large-scale time-series and IoT-based energy data, analyzing consumption patterns and developing analytical models to support optimization initiatives.
This role combines hands-on data analysis with research-oriented reporting, including the preparation of technical reports and studies used for internal decision-making and external publications.
You will collaborate closely with engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to ensure analytical outputs align with real-world system constraints and operational requirements.
Your SkillsExperience analyzing large-scale time-series data using Python and SQL
Strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, or applied data science
Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear written reports or studies
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Exposure to automation, data pipelines, or analytical workflow optimization
Business-level English, conversational Japanese is a plus.
