Key Responsibilities
Analyze product usage data to identify growth opportunities and challenges
Support product improvement proposals and new feature planning
Measure and optimize growth initiatives (onboarding, retention, conversion)
Build dashboards and report actionable insights to stakeholders
Develop user segmentation, predictive models (churn, LTV, recommendations), and run A/B tests
Improve data pipelines and ensure high-quality analytics
Must-Have
Bachelor's in CS, AI, ML, Math, Physics, or related field
5+ years as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
Strong SQL and Python/R skills for complex data extraction and analysis
Experience with PLG/product-growth analytics in SaaS/tech
Solid knowledge of statistics and applying it to business challenges
Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
Proven ability to collaborate with executives, business units, and engineering teams
Interest or experience in generative AI / LLMs
Startup or high-growth company experience preferred
Advanced-level Japanese and English
