My client is looking for a Lead Data Scientist who combines deep analytical expertise with structured problem-solving and a strong sense of mission.
In this role, you will drive AI-powered analytics, predictive modeling, and strategic decision support to solve high-impact business challenges in the healthcare domain.
You'll work closely with global analytics leaders, cross-functional teams, and external data science partners to generate insights that directly influence patient value and business strategy.

Use advanced analytics, ML, and statistical methods to deliver actionable insights for complex business problems
Design, execute, and operationalize AI/analytics projects, ensuring high-quality delivery
Partner with Go-to-Market teams as a strategic analytics advisor
Collaborate with global analytics leads, business partners, and external vendors
Support and influence the internal data science community
Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization
What We're Looking For
Master's or PhD in a quantitative field (Statistics, Math, Physics, etc.)
5+ years of programming experience in Python/R
5+ years building ML/NN predictive models in production
Experience with analytics in the pharma Go-to-Market domain
Strong hands-on skills with SQL, databases, and workflow automation
Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-cultural environment
Native Japanese and fluent English with good communication
