Job Title: Manager, Global IT Strategy Department

Location: Shiodome

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our global IT strategy department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT resource management, finance, procurement, and strategy partnership. As a guardian of global IT governance, you will be the contact person for our 6 regions (Japan, APAC, China, TR, EMEA, and Americas) in HQ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Strategy: Enterprise architecture, IT organization, long-term transformation, and IT resource management
  • IT Planning: IT investment strategy, profit/loss controlling, project portfolio management
  • Global IT Governance: Investment, finance, procurement, security, and IT service management
  • IT Portfolio Management: KPI tracking, performance, cost, resource allocation, and APM
  • Global IT Procurement: Partnership, contract negotiation, global charge allocation, and vendor performance management
  • IT Finance: Asset management, profit/loss accounting, invoice processing, and cross-charge operation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Strong interest in the latest technology
  • Fluent communication, reading, and writing skills in English on a business level
  • Hands-on experience with IT vendors, both locally and remotely (offshore management required)
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Contract negotiation experience with global partners
  • Multicultural team experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Fluent communication, reading, and writing skills in Japanese or Chinese on a business level
  • Strong experience in both agile development and waterfall development in enterprise projects
  • Strong knowledge and experience in API and OSS
  • Experience with Salesforce.com platform, SAP, and ServiceNow
  • DevOps experience
  • Project management experience for large-scale global projects
  • Expertise in IT Service Management (Certified in ITIL)
  • 10+ years of experience in the Infrastructure domain or IT service management role
  • Strong technical skills and good knowledge of cloud computing, infrastructure, and applications
  • Hands-on experience in infrastructure management
  • Experience facilitating decision-making boards for technological topics

Salary: Estimated salary range is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
