Vistex Client Manager is client-facing and supports multiple client sales and marketing programs in collaboration with senior account leadership. This role is personally responsible for client satisfaction, retention, and growth for programs that may range from $500K to $1.0M in annual revenues.

  • Supports all activities throughout the client lifecycle, from insuring successful implementations to ongoing program optimization and extensions
  • Scopes and organizes fulfillment of client needs that may be strategic or operational in nature, working with internal Vistex teams (Strategy & Analytics, Program Administration, Payment Processing, Product Management, Software Development, etc.)
  • Garners professional support for the client and applies knowledge of marketing program best practices and Vistex solutions and practices to benefit the client
  • Works largely independently, though in close collaboration with senior account leadership
  • This position will support a high-visibility sales program for an enterprise client. The foundation for this program is a custom software application. As a result, the individual in this role will collaborate with the Senior Client Manager for this program to:

  • Discern and document customer requirements for software releases
  • Interface with the Vistex software development team through planning, build and release phases
  • Prepare and manage client user acceptance testing
  • Other tasks related to custom software support
  • Responsibilities:

    Client-facing:

  • Manages the day-to-day needs of assigned client programs, working with primary and peripheral client program stakeholders in a high-quality manner and according to Vistex account management practices
  • Authors and presents proposals for SOWs up to $50,000 and assists in preparation of larger SOWs
  • Gathers customer software requirements, authors/assists in authoring and presenting Business Requirements Documents and interfaces client to deliver releases successfully
  • Prepares for, conducts, documents and manages follow-up for status meetings
  • At the program level, effectively leads delivery across cross-functional teams throughout the program lifecycle (design, development, launch, ongoing support)
  • Executes or oversees project management, requirements and may document use cases
  • Monitors program performance versus goals and recommends improvements
  • Is able to effectively represent the full suite of Vistex solutions
  • Internal facing:

  • Is accountable to achieve revenue retention, growth and profitability targets; prepares corrective action strategies as appropriate
  • Collaborates with software development to define, document and deliver program software requirements
  • Proactively discerns opportunities to grow business and creates strategies to capitalize on those opportunities within the existing client/program base
  • Ensures that Purchase Orders are delivered prior to start of work and follows-up on receivables as necessary
  • Prepares Revenue and Resource forecasts in an accurate and timely manner; monitors results and strategizes improvements; monitors resource consumption via Weekly Timecard Reports.
  • Is the escalation point for internal inquiries; escalates inquiry to client as needed
  • Fulfills administrative tasks in a thorough, correct and timely manner, including but not limited to timecards and expense reports
  • Other tasks as assigned by account leadership
