The Mission
As the Hardware CTO Candidate, you will bridge the gap between complex robotics hardware and scalable software solutions. You will not just oversee R&D, but lead the transition into stable, high-quality mass production.
- Hardware Strategy:
Define and execute the roadmap for our proprietary drone hardware and hardware-software integration. - Mass Production:
Lead the engineering process from prototype to mass production, ensuring quality control and supply chain optimization. - Organization Building:
Recruit, mentor, and manage a engineering team in Tokyo and abroad. - Executive Leadership:
Work alongside the board members to align technical goals with business growth.
Requiremens
- Must be willing to relocate to or currently reside in Tokyo, Japan.
- Engineering Background:
Proven track record in
Hardware Development
(Robotics, UAVs, Automotive, or Precision Machinery). - Mass Production Experience:
Experience managing the phase transition from R&D to Mass Production is highly preferred. - Leadership:
Experience leading engineering teams or serving as a VPoE/CTO in a startup or tech company. - Global Mindset:
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in English.
