Syntegon Technology K.K. (Japan) provides a wide range of services to meet customer needs, including sales of domestically manufactured and imported machines for the Japanese pharmaceutical and food markets, as well as packaging materials, validation, and comprehensive services. The Japan main plant is located in Saitama prefecture (:50min train ride from Tokyo) with around 100 passionate colleagues.
Your duties
The intern will support the local mechanical design team at Syntegon Technology K.K. (Japan). As Japan is the global inspection hub of Syntegon Technology, the focus lies on pharmaceutical inspection machines.
- Creation and modification of technical drawings of parts/assemblies
- Modification and design of simple parts/assemblies in Solidworks
- Support in the R&D process of new functions and designs
- Creation and maintenance of part/assembly data in SAP
Depending on skill level, more advanced tasks and projects are possible.
Your profile
Intern Profile:
- Student in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics or similar technical major
- Must be enrolled at a university or postgraduate school for the whole internship period of one year
- Knowledge in 3D CAD-software. Preferably Solidworks
- Knowledge in typical technical drawing guidelines (dimensioning, tolerances, ...)
- Independent, creative and motivated way of working
- Flexibility and tolerance to adapt to a foreign work environment and daily life
- Language proficiency:
- English on a decent working proficiency
- Japanese language skills are not mandatory but considered as a big plus
