Global Future Leaders × Global Accounts Strategy Office Program (SOP)
is a newly integrated global leadership development initiative designed for high-potential university and master's graduates who are ready to shape the future of Lenovo and the technology industry.
This unique program merges two of Lenovo's most prestigious global talent initiatives:
- Global Future Leaders (GFL): a world-class leadership acceleration framework that cultivates Lenovo's next generation of senior leaders.
- Global Accounts Strategy Office Program (SOP): a hands-on, business transformation and strategy experience within Lenovo's Global Accounts organization, with a strong focus on AI-driven innovation and consultative sales.
Through this unified journey, participants will gain both the

Program Highlights
- 12-month rotational program with exposure to both sales and consultative transformation roles

Key Responsibilities
- Support Global Accounts sellers in building and executing account strategies
- Develop and present account plans that align with customer objectives and Lenovo's portfolio
- Work cross-functionally to solution Lenovo's offerings and deliver transformation outcomes
- Engage with customers at multiple levels, including executive (C-level) engagement
- Translate business strategies into clear, actionable initiatives with measurable impact
- Partner with the Global Strategy Office on key initiatives and projects, supporting Lenovo's long-term vision
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer success and growth
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Graduation years 2024–2026)
- Passion for technology, AI innovation, and global business transformation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Japanese
- Analytical and strategic mindset, with strong problem-solving ability
- High energy, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, international environment
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures

- Internship or academic experience in consulting, IT, or strategic projects
- Understanding of AI concepts and their business applications

Department Role Overview
This position is part of Lenovo Japan's
Global Accounts Management team
, focused on enterprise clients in Japan. You will support customers' digital transformation by providing solutions that integrate PCs, cloud services, AI, and other offerings.
You will report to an experienced manager who emphasizes individual growth and guidance. The role provides opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, enabling you to gain multifaceted perspectives and expand your knowledge.
Additionally, you will have the chance to learn directly from Lenovo Japan's senior leadership, who bring deep insight into global market trends and cultural differences, offering a rare opportunity to experience international business at the forefront.

The manager began their career as an engineer before transitioning into sales to pursue more dynamic business challenges. They gained experience at global corporations and served as Country Manager for a Silicon Valley venture in Japan. Driven by a passion for ThinkPad and large-scale projects, they joined Lenovo. Timeline Selection Process

- As a member of the Japan Global Account Management team, you will engage with managers, directors, and C-level executives at leading global companies in Japan.
- Therefore, native-level or equivalent Japanese proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) and business-level English proficiency are required.
- Non-native Japanese speakers must hold JLPT N1 certification.
