Senior Operations Manager

The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for leading the Amazon Japan Stores Customer Service (ASCS) operations in Japan.

About this role

  • Lead customer service sites in Japan and the Virtual Customer Service (VCS) team.
  • Oversee key performance indicators including safety, customer experience, quality, productivity, and cost of Japan operations.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 10+ years of best-in-class leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of success in multi-site Customer Service Centre environments with large teams (500+).
  • Strong customer-centric KPIs driving skills.
  • Collaborative approach with experience managing remote locations.
  • Fluent Japanese and English verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in continuous improvement culture and methodology (e.g. lean, six sigma, kaizen).
  • Data analysis skills to turn metrics into actionable programs.

Estimated salary: ¥20,000,000 - ¥30,000,000 per year
