This role plays a key part in ensuring the stable operation of business applications used across Japan.
As a leader in application operations and maintenance, you will collaborate with development teams, business teams, and global teams to maintain quality and drive continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain stable operations and uphold the availability of business applications
Ensure application health in accordance with global/local governance policies, including:
Cybersecurity remediation
Regular updates of documentation and applications
Serve as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) and lead vendors in BAU activities
Incident management, problem management, change management
Work closely with business users, development teams, and global support to prioritize tasks and issues
Manage vendor contracts and software licenses
Support external integrations (data exchange)
Required Skills
Solid understanding of application maintenance
Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure and networks
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Business-level Japanese and basic English proficiency
Experience
3+ years of experience in operations and maintenance of open-system applications
3+ years of experience across the full application development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing, release)
Experience with Java, AWS, or Angular is a plus
Experience in the non-life insurance industry is preferred
Practical hands-on technical experience

サイバーセキュリティ対応
ドキュメント・アプリケーションの定期更新
SME(アプリケーション専門家)としてベンダーのBAU業務をリード
障害管理、問題管理、変更管理
ビジネスユーザー、開発チーム、グローバルサポートとの連携・課題優先順位付け
ベンダー契約・ライセンス管理
外部連携(データ交換)に関する支援業務
必須スキル
アプリケーションメンテナンスの基礎理解
ITインフラ/ネットワークに関する基礎知識
高いコミュニケーション能力(文書・口頭)
ビジネスレベルの日本語、基本的な英語スキル
経験
オープン系アプリケーション運用保守の経験(3年以上)
要件定義〜開発〜テスト〜リリースまでの一連の開発経験(3年以上)
Java/AWS/Angularの経験があれば尚可
損害保険業界での経験歓迎
実務レベルの技術経験
