About the Role:
Business partner to the commercial team on all financial related activities, and commercial support from pre-sales to after-sales to drive business initiatives, growth and profitability and ensure efficient and effective financial, commercial and operational management as well as other ad hoc requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Influence & Drive Business Growth Clarity on sales targets at monthly, quarterly, and yearly level. Working alongside the commercial leaders to drive actions on delivery of targets.
Provide commercial partnering through using insights on sales trends, future forecasting and external market data to improve and drive business growth at market level.
Identify Opportunity & Risk for business growth and escalate the gaps/issues in advance.Lead PMM (Pricing and Margin Management) for the Japan business across market/technology portfolio where we have opportunities to expand margin.
Work with GBS (Finance shared service in Malaysia) to ensure closing is accurate and on time.Ensure controls are in place to prevent and detect any deficiencies in businesses and processes.
Support the day-to-day running of Finance and providing insights to Japan business's financial performance, risks and financial management
Support accounts payable/accounts receivable operations
Support Finance Director and General manager on their ad-hoc requests.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines
Minimum 8 years finance working experience in global companies with at least 3 years in FP&A
Highly proficient with excel, Power BI, and experience in SAP is desired
Collaborative in teamworking and also ability to work independently with strong sense of ownership
Leverage financial data and transform into insights that enable effective actions/decision making
Experience in the operation of shared services is a plus
Fluency in English/Japanese and effective communication skills
