■Position Summary
This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to drive informed business decisions and support the department's financial health and performance to achieve or improve Sales and Operating Profit.
■Responsibilities
・Collect, compile, and analyze data to support financial transactions and assessments
・Monitor key financial metrics (income, costs)
・Investigate and explain actual vs. budget variances, providing insights
・Prepare financial plans, forecasts, and reports for strategic planning support
・Deliver actionable analysis and recommendations to the respective business head
・Partner with Sales/Strategy/CS on bonus incentives and budget/forecast
・Maintain/enhance reporting systems and ensure data integrity with shared services
■Skills & Qualifications
・7+ years of experience in finance/planning (BS in Business, Finance, or similar required)
・Japanese Language: Business level or higher (Fluent/JLPT N1)
・Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
・Effective communication of complex financial data to global audiences
・Proficiency in Excel (pivot, VLOOKUP, intermediate macro) and database programming
・Working knowledge of general financial principles and GAAP
・Experience in virtual, cross-functional, and global collaboration
・Open mindset to understand the complex model and look beyond the numbers
