ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a
Finance Staff / Financial Accountant
to support our CFO and global finance team.
This position focuses on hands-on financial operations, including cash flow management, fund transfers, reporting, and internal control support.
You will be part of the core team ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance in all financial operations.
We use
Google Workspace
and
NetSuite / Kintone
for all finance workflows — Microsoft Office is not used in our environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Support daily financial operations across Japan and Vietnam entities
● Manage payments, transfers, and cash flow tracking
● Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
● Prepare and review financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
● Operate NetSuite and Kintone for accounting and approval workflows
● Support external audits, tax filings, and document preparation
● Monitor budget vs. actual results and assist in variance analysis
● Maintain compliance documentation and assist with internal control audits
● Communicate in English with CFO, auditors, and overseas team members
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
● 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting operations
● Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes
● Business-level English (reading and writing)
● Hands-on experience with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
● Accuracy, responsibility, and consistency in financial data management
● Willingness to learn new systems such as NetSuite and Kintone
Nice to Have
● Experience in a listed or pre-listing company environment
● Familiarity with IFRS, US GAAP, or J-GAAP
● Experience with audit coordination or internal control documentation
● Experience working in global or cross-border teams (especially with Vietnam)
● Strong interest in AI, automation, and data-driven finance

WORK CONDITIONS

● Days Off: Weekends and Japanese public holidays
● Relocation: International applicants welcome — relocation cost to Japan is covered (housing not included)
