Job Description: QA Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing effective testing strategies to ensure the quality of software products.
- Executing manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure performance standards.
- Collaborating with software developers and product managers to understand product requirements and develop testing criteria.
- Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Identifying, recording, and documenting thoroughly any bugs or issues encountered.
- Reviewing and analyzing system specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participating in functional and regression testing as part of the software release process.
- Monitoring debugging processes and providing reports on testing progress and results.
- Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team-focused environment.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Exposure to different software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Prior experience in a similar industry or domain is a plus.
