Role
As an AI Research Engineer, you will play a key role in researching, building, and deploying production-grade AI systems, with a strong emphasis on large language models (LLMs). This role combines hands-on AI development with applied research, working closely with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to ensure AI capabilities are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business goals.

You will contribute both to core platform development and to custom AI initiatives, helping translate advanced AI techniques into practical, high-impact solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, train, and fine-tune AI models, including LLM-based systems, for real-world applications
  • Optimize AI models and pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI systems into production environments
  • Work with infrastructure and DevOps teams to support deployment, monitoring, and scaling
  • Drive applied research in areas such as fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, and model efficiency
  • Communicate AI capabilities and trade-offs to product and technical stakeholders

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Strong background in machine learning, AI, or applied research
  • Experience developing and deploying AI models into production systems
  • Solid foundation in mathematics, statistics, and computer science
  • Proficiency in Python and modern ML/AI frameworks
  • Experience optimizing models for inference speed, reliability, and cost
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with large language models and RAG-based systems
  • Exposure to multi-modal or generative AI systems
  • Familiarity with MLOps, cloud-based deployment, and monitoring
  • Experience contributing to long-term research or client-facing AI projects
