Key job responsibilities
本ポジションは、Amazon Japan Operations Process System Engineering (PSE) チームのAmazon Roboticsを始めとした社内で開発されたシステム担当のポジションで、次世代のAmazon Japanオペレーションの構築に大きく貢献します。PSEチームは、Inbound、OutboundならびにReturn など、フルフィルメントセンター (FC) の工程やシステムに知識を持つ、Process Engineerで構成される組織です。
本ポジションは主に2つの業務を担当します。まず、プロジェクトチームの中心としてグローバルチームが開発したソリューションの導入、設定、テストをサポートしていただきます。次に、グローバルチームや日本のオペレーションメンバーと協力してエンジニアリング部門としてオペレーションのパフォーマンス改善に取り組んでいただきます。そのため、PSEのエンジニアは日本語、英語でのコミュニケーション能力があり、製造・物流関連のオペレーションとソフトウェアを含む幅広い分野の経験をお持ちの熱心なリーダーを求めています。
本ポジションは、プロセスにおいて安全、品質、生産性における改善の機会を常に探索し、最適なソリューションの提案と、強いリーダーシップを持ってそれを実行する必要があります。
具体的に本職務は以下が含まれます。
1.Amazon Roboticsを始めとしたグローバルチームのエンジニアリングパートナーと緊密にコミュニケーションを取りながら、日本のFC担当Sr Leadershipやオペレーションメンバーとソリューション導入やテスト、プロジェクト進捗などについてコミュニケーションを遂行する。
2.プロジェクト計画、ファイナンス分析、リスク管理、および社内外のステークホルダーと協力しながらプロジェクトを遂行する。
3.他のエンジニアリングチームやオペレーションチームと協力して、プロセス改善のための新しいエンジニアリングソリューションを導入する。
4.入荷から配送までのオペレーションの幅広い視野と知識を持ち、ベストプラクティスの構築と標準化の推進に挑み続け、グローバルステークホルダーと協力し、常に最新の情報を得ることで、改善機会を逃すことなく、オペレーションの標準化・最適化・情報の見える化を推進する。

A day in the life
Process System Engineerが所属するエンジニアはグローバルチームが開発するハードウェアやソフトウェアの新規導入から既存のFCのサポートに至るまで幅広いプロジェクトに参画します。現場のプロセスを正しく理解し、日本のFCに適用可能なソリューションの導入検討、費用対効果試算、プロジェクト進捗管理といったことを行います。また、Amazon Roboticsの導入されているFCに対して他国で実施されてるベストプラクティスの共有や運用改善、標準化の推進をオペレーションメンバーはじめ海外のチームと協業しながら行います。
FCメンバーとのやり取りは日本語で行いますが、Amazon Robotics所属のエンジニアやマネージャーとのミーティングやメール、チャットでのやり取りを英語で行い、全体勤務時間の4割程度は英語を使います。課題が発生した際にはチームメンバーや上司と相談して解決しながらプロジェクトやタスクを進めることが出来ます。
基本的には本社オフィスに出勤することになり、プロジェクトの内容や進捗次第によってはFCへ出向いて勤務を行うことがあります。出張機会もありますが、難しい場合は調整可能です。(フレックス・在宅勤務制度あり)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2年以上の社内他部門および外部ベンダーとコミュニケーションを取り、計画どおりに業務を推進した経験- 既存プロセスの改善プロジェクトにおける成功経験
- データ分析スキル・経験
- 日本語と英語の口頭および書面によるコミュニケーション能力(ビジネスレベル)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 学士号(Industrial Engineering, Information Science, or Computer Science- Robotics Solutions/物流システムの導入、設定、テスト経験
- Software開発の経験又はSQLを用いたクエリ作成スキル
- シックスシグマとリーン生産方式に関連する資格
- インクルーシブなカルチャーへの貢献や多様性に富んだグループで働くことに対して前向きであること
