Data & Devices business unit focuses on consumer electronics and data communication industries. With the growth of consumer markets and increasing information traffic, there is a need for faster and higher-capacity processing capabilities in network communication systems and data centers. As a partner supporting customers' product evolution and business expansion, we provide cutting-edge products and total solutions for next-generation data communication industries.

Responsibility

Develop electronic components (connectors) for data communication equipment and consumer products. This includes concept proposal, detailed design, prototyping, and mass production. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing high-speed (112Gbps+) signal transmission connectors and custom connectors for consumer customers
  • Proposing new designs and providing technical support to domestic and international customers
  • Coordinating with internal and external teams for joint development
  • Providing technical guidance, negotiation, and quality improvement activities with plants and suppliers

What your background should look like:

Experience & Competency

Must to Have

  • 5+ years of experience in product development and design (precision machinery/mechanical design) at an electronics/electrical component manufacturer
  • Ability to lead development with new technologies and take initiative
  • Experience with English-language business operations
  • Ability to actively express opinions in meetings

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge and experience in connector products (design, structural calculation, CAE analysis, product evaluation, material, molding, and processing knowledge)
  • Experience with cost analysis and cost reduction activities
  • Confidence in English/Chinese communication
  • Specialized skills that can keep pace with others
  • Desire for global career advancement
