We are the development department in charge of services belonging to the Entertainment Contents Business, responsible for services related to movie and music within Rakuten Group. We develop and operate Rakuten Ticket/Rakuten NFT, handling sports ticket sales, stadium entrance/exit systems, and management systems for famous domestic and international artists, theater, sports, and leisure tickets. We oversee the system development and operation of Rakuten Ticket's main system, ensuring stable operation of large-scale ticket sales and order management for popular artists from Japan and abroad. As a manager, you will empower the entertainment business, making decisions on large-scale system development and operation, and developing a group of development engineers. Your responsibilities include engineering team management, people management, communication with stakeholders, understanding system development requirements, and proposing system improvement measures. You will also be responsible for the regular operation of the system, response to various inquiries, and handling of unexpected events. Mandatory qualifications include experience as a team manager of 10 or more members, experience in engineering human resource development, curiosity about new technology elements and services, and experience in more than one programming language. Desired qualifications include experience leading and facilitating business transfers between internal departments, architect or tech lead experience, and experience with Agile development processes.
