About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technology, microservices, and serverless implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and drive development end-to-end
- Build solutions that manage data across applications and environments
- Optimize cost and performance of business function migration to cloud
- Design and develop solutions that protect and manage cloud-native apps and data
- Share and review innovative technical ideas with peers, high-level technical contributors, and managers
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing microservices and cloud services
- Hands-on experience in cloud technology
- Experience in implementing event-driven architecture and serverless implementation
- Experience supporting technical teams of size 4-6
- Experience in application development related to project delivery processes (waterfall and agile methodologies)
- Experience interacting with business users and counterparts across markets/regions/global
- DevOps and agile development process experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of life/annuity insurance is a plus
- Experience in development for insurance companies is preferred
Working Arrangements
Flexible work arrangements, including work-from-home options (up to 4 times a month or as needed), and overtime opportunities (up to 15-20 hours per month)
