We are helping our client, a fast-growing cybersecurity SaaS provider founded in 2012, whose AI-powered, operation-centric platform combines endpoint protection, detection, and response capabilities (EDR, XDR), to detect, halt, and investigate cyber threats with advanced behavioral analytics.
The company operates globally - including in Tokyo - and is known for its real-time security intelligence and innovative approach to combating sophisticated cyberattacks.
Work mode:
hybrid, 2 office days, Tokyo
Responsibilities
Build and enhance scalable backend systems and user-facing components that support complex data operations
Create and maintain data pipelines capable of processing large volumes of information efficiently
Work with AI-powered analytics features to improve performance and reliability across the platform
Design and maintain APIs, as well as integrations with third-party tools and internal systems
Apply strong security practices and ensure solutions align with industry and compliance standards
Diagnose and resolve technical challenges across both backend and frontend layers of the product
Requirements
4+ years of fullstack development experience, with hands-on work in Rust, C++, or Java, plus a modern frontend framework
Solid software development experience in a SaaS/Software product company
Strong foundation in computer science, software design, and system architecture
Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, and containerized environments
Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data pipelines (Kafka, ELK, or similar)
Exposure to distributed systems, API design, and performance optimization for large-scale software products
Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with genuine interest in cybersecurity and emerging tech
Fluent English
