We are helping our client, a fast-growing cybersecurity SaaS provider founded in 2012, whose AI-powered, operation-centric platform combines endpoint protection, detection, and response capabilities (EDR, XDR), to detect, halt, and investigate cyber threats with advanced behavioral analytics.

About the Role
The company is expanding its engineering team in Japan and looking for a fullstack engineer who enjoys working on high-performance systems, large-scale data pipelines, and modern security technologies.
The role combines backend development (Rust, Go, Java, C++) with frontend work, plus deep involvement in cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and real-time data processing.
You'll work across the stack to build secure, high-throughput features, help integrate AI-driven analytics, and shape data processing flows for millions of events per second.
ResponsibilitiesBuild and improve backend services and the user-facing parts of the product
Develop reliable data pipelines that handle large amounts of real-time security data
Work with AI-driven features to boost speed, accuracy, and overall platform performance
Create clean, well-designed APIs and integrations with internal and external systems
Implement strong security practices in everything you build
Troubleshoot and solve technical issues across both backend and frontend areas
Requirements
5+ years of full stack development experience, with hands-on work in Rust, plus a modern frontend framework
Solid software development experience in a SaaS / software product company
Strong foundation in computer science, software design, and system architecture
Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, and containerized environments
Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data pipelines (Kafka, ELK, or similar)
Exposure to distributed systems, API design, and performance optimization for large-scale software products
Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
Fluent English
