Job Purpose
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Translation Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating translation projects from start to finish, ensuring that all translations are completed accurately and on time.
This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will be liaising with clients, translators, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
You will also be responsible for maintaining project documentation, tracking project progress, and resolving any issues that may arise during the translation process.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of translation processes and tools, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
Communicating with clients
Assigning projects and coordinating the workflow of translators, DTP operators, and other human resources.
Managing and controlling quality, schedules, and costs.
Drawing up estimates, preparing invoices, guidelines, and other documents relevant to a project.
Track the translation processes at the right time and schedule projects
Dealing with complaints from clients and local agents
Exchange appropriate feedback with translators and reviewers
Prepare projects by using Trados Studio
Necessary documentation works in the project management team
Answering phone calls
Other tasks related to translation projects.
Skills & Experience
Native Japanese Speaker
Excellent communication skills for smooth discussions with clients and translators, both with phone calls and e-mails
Should have at least 2 years of administrative experience
Should have English reading comprehension to understand work-related documents and instructions effectively
(TOEIC score:
Approximately 750)
Computer skills (Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experiences of CAT Tool (Trados, Multiterm)
Experience working as a coordinator
