The Opportunity
We are seeking a Part-Time Intern to join our Tokyo office for a six-month internship. This role is designed for university students with a strong interest in technology, communications, and global affairs. The internship is structured to be flexible, allowing you to work around your academic schedule.
As an intern, you'll be embedded in a supportive and inclusive team environment that values psychological safety, mentorship, and curiosity. You'll work closely with colleagues across Brunswick's global network, gaining exposure to cross-border client work and learning how responsible communication can shape reputations in a rapidly evolving world — including how we advise clients on the ethical use of AI.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research on companies, industries, and emerging technologies
- Monitor media and digital platforms for client-relevant developments
- Assist with the preparation of briefing materials and presentations
- Collaborate with colleagues across Asia, Europe, and the Americas
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and internal learning sessions
- Contribute your own perspective to help us think differently and better
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a university program (undergraduate or graduate)
- Strong interest in technology, business, and communications
- Excellent research and writing skills in Japanese & English
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Able to commit to 5–15 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
