The Opportunity

We are looking for a senior energy, natural resources and infrastructure lawyer to join our award-winning Energy and Mining team in Tokyo.
In this role, you will work closely with pre-eminent Energy and Resources partners, Andrew Blacoe and Lachlan Clancy, as well as other corporate energy, projects and infrastructure specialists across Asia and the wider network to support clients from a range of jurisdictions, focusing on energy, natural resources and infrastructure projects and transactions internationally.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
• At least 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in the energy, natural resources or infrastructure sectors;
• Excellent drafting, analytical and project management skills;
• Substantial experience working as a lead associate in M&A, joint ventures, commercial contracts and regulation in energy, resources and infrastructure;
• An excellent client manner and demonstrated success in managing and building strong relationships with both colleagues and clients
