Solution Architect (Digital Enterprise Specialist)

  • Propose cloud adoption and support architecture design for conglomerate companies focused on technology-driven business
  • Advocate for system architecture optimization and integration methods using the latest cloud technologies to guide customers towards success

Interacting with customers from various industries such as E-commerce, manufacturing, media, games, Ad Tech, Fintech, among others, will allow you to deepen your insights across different business sectors and system architectures of various scales and genres.



Key job responsibilities

  • Focus on large-scale digital enterprise companies and lead the technical aspects within the account team
  • Provide value propositions of AWS, propose optimal architectures, and offer technical support
  • Maintain knowledge of modern technologies adopted by customers and be recognized as an engineer capable of addressing technical challenges raised by customers
  • Contribute to the market by showcasing customer cases, technical materials, and participating in events to communicate the potential of the AWS platform
  • Drive further improvements and evolution of the AWS platform based on customer feedback


A day in the life

Collaborate closely with sales, engage in conversations with engineers, business departments, and executives to address technical challenges, new business issues, and strategic challenges, and propose tailored solutions accordingly. Work flexibly and dynamically with a diverse network of Solution Architects to advance concrete realization stages through architecture definition, demo creation, prototyping, and more.

Strategic thinking is essential for addressing business, product, and technical challenges as a Solution Architect. Embrace new challenges, prioritize continuous learning, and enjoy supporting other Solution Architects using your expertise.



About the team

Assemble an account team structure for specific customers, collaborate with AWS Global resources including specialists and industry experts, and contribute to customers' business growth through the power of cloud computing. The team consists of members with diverse backgrounds and strengths, aiming to create a new era in Japan's digital business landscape together.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated high technical and data analysis skills with over 7 years of development or consulting experience focused on the Web
  • Experience leading system design from implementation to testing and operation of in-house or customer service systems
  • Strong communication skills to efficiently collaborate across internal and external organizations
  • Proficiency in Japanese (near-native or native level) and business English (reading and writing)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Customer support experience as a pre-sales consultant
  • Architecture design skills utilizing cloud services and modern software
  • Experience in data center migration of systems
  • Development experience in Agile or Scrum, DevOps-style development
  • Experience in building/operating data analysis infrastructure using big data/machine learning
  • Industry knowledge in automotive, games, media, and more
  • Fluent English (listening/speaking)
