About the role

Our Technical Consultant is the bridge between our products and their applications with our clients and data and business objectives. In other words, you are the link between product team, customer and sales. Your goal is to generate technical solutions and successfully implement them at the customer with existing products and concepts or bringing the new requirements to product team on behalf of the customer.

This requires in-depth knowledge of our products: you are familiar with all of the details from development, service operation to the sales strategy. You must also have excellent communication skills to help you work with the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and communicate new requirements or feedback from customers to the product team to support continuous improvement and localization for the Japanese market.
  • Facilitate discussions with customers regarding product scope, technical implementation, and operational best practices, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution at each stage.
  • Establish and nurture trustworthy long-term relationships with Japanese clients, demonstrating reliability and cultural understanding throughout the engagement

About you

  • Very good communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Ability to identify and grasp business requirements 
  • Very good communication and moderation skills. 
  • Graduate/ post-graduate in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance or any engineering degrees. 
  • Minimum 3 years experience in direct customer-facing role.
  • Experienced in customer-facing project management & delivery
  • Demonstrate knowledge in web/app tracking
  • Demonstrate knowledge in data analytics
  • Demonstrate knowledge in digital marketing, CRM, marketing automation, CDP or DMP.
  • Any additional technical and professional credential related to aforementioned skills is a plus. (e.g. HTML/CSS/Javascript)

【仕事内容】

Appierにおけるテクニカルコンサルタントは、顧客のビジネス目標を達成するために製品に関する技術的なソリューションを提供する役割を担います。製品チーム・顧客・営業の間をつなぐ存在となります。テクニカルコンサルタントの目標は、既存の製品やコンセプトを用いて顧客に技術的なソリューションを提供・実装すること、さらに顧客の新たな要件を製品チームにフィードバックすることです。 

この役割では、製品に関する深い知識が必要となります。開発、運用、販売戦略に至るまで、すべての詳細に精通している必要があります。 また、顧客との協力体制を強化するために優れたコミュニケーションスキルも必要です。

【具体的な業務】

  • 日本市場の継続的な改善およびローカライズを支援するために、顧客からの新たな要件やフィードバックを収集し、プロダクトチームへ伝達します。
  • プロダクトで対応可能な範囲、技術的な実装、運用面でのベストプラクティスについて顧客とディスカッションを行い、各ステージで明確なコミュニケーションを取り、問題解決を行います。
  • 日本のクライアントの文化的背景を理解しながら、信頼できる長期的な関係を構築・育成を行います。

【必要条件】

  • 技術的な情報を、技術者および技術者出ない両者に適格に伝えるための優れたコミュニケーションスキル
  • 顧客が気付く前に要件を特定し、迅速に対応する洞察力と対応力
  • 優れたコミュニケーション能力とファシリテーションスキル
  • 英語と日本語が堪能
  • コンピューターサイエンス、数学、統計学、経済学、金融、またはその他の工学系の学士号・修士号取得者
  • カスタマーフェイシングの職務経験が3年以上あること
  • カスタマーフェイシングのプロジェクトマネジメントおよびデリバリー経験
  • Webやアプリのトラッキングに関する知識を有すること
  • データ分析に関する知識を有すること
  • デジタルマーケティング、CRM、マーケティングオートメーション、CDP または DMP に関する知識を有すること
  • 上記スキルに関連する技術的・専門的資格やスキルがあれば尚可(例:HTML/CSS/JavaScript など)
