Department Overview
Our department is constantly thinking about how to lead the personnel, material, and financial aspects of the development unit of Commerce Company, which has a total of about 1,400 employees. The department consists of Finance, HR, General Affairs, and Strategy sections.
This time, we are recruiting for the Finance section.
While you will communicate with business managers and executives, you will also support on-site engineers in placing orders, entering man-hours, and managing project progress, so you will be able to work with a very wide range of people while receiving a lot of stimulation.
The development unit of Commerce Company is reorganizing, so we are looking for additional staff to augment the department.

Position
Why We Hire
We'd like to add Finance members depending on expanding the organization of Commerce & Marketing Technology Supervised Department, target departments of finance.
Not only by increasing volume of tasks, we appreciate if you have the mind to think how we can improve / create the operation flow with us.
Position Details
We gather and adjust cash / cost on Management Accounting point of view. After that, process data and analyze the difference, finally, we report Cost Report to Board Members, General Managers and Managers.
You will be required to compare actual results and forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis, investigate the causes, and summarize them in a report.
Since many of our stakeholders are high-level executives and business managers, we would like you to be constantly creative in your reporting.
- Data hearing and adjusting through the communication of development group, Internal Tools.
- Management budget / actual cost, man-hour, and Order to outside vendors.
- Data processing, creating report and reporting mainly using Excel.
- Understanding Management Accounting of Rakuten Group, and making proposal for improvement.
- Making well-communication / cooperating with development group

7 teams exist depending on the roll and target department.

Mandatory Qualifications
- Japanese: Native, N1 level
- Excel: Advanced (macros, pivot, pivot graphs, advanced functions, etc.)
- PowerPoint: Intermediate (report writing)
- English: Business English (TOEIC 800 or higher)
Desired Qualifications
- Management experience
- Experience in management accounting
- Experience working with senior management
- IT infrastructure knowledge
- Experience in purchasing
- Access: Intermediate (table creation, query, VBA, SQL, etc.)
