As an IT Server/Storage Engineer at Micron, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and management of servers/storages that operate production systems on site. Design and implement production systems hardware and operating system solutions. Troubleshoot and identify Windows/Linux related problems, and perform root cause analysis.
Responsibilities include:
• Providing user support and managing system performance, security and tuning
• Maintaining systems and updating operational documentation
Key Requirements:
• Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Japanese
• Strong collaboration skills and analytical problem solving skills
• Experience in supporting and administering Win 2012, Win 2016, Win 2019, RedHat 6/7/8 and VMWare management
• High interest in learning new technologies and scripting, programming and managing Windows or Linux Servers
