Huxley is working with a leading Japanese real estate fund manager for a fundraising manager role in Japan.
Position Overview
Title: Fundraising Manager for Japanese Investors – India Real Estate Development Fund
Location: Tokyo (with regular business trips to India)
Key Responsibilities
This role is responsible for fundraising and investor relations with Japanese investors (HNWIs, institutions, and corporates) for real estate development funds focused on India (office, residential, and mixed-use projects). The position will collaborate closely with the India investment team, leading cross-border structuring, investment negotiations, and reporting.
1) Proposal and material preparation
2) Investor communication and negotiation
3) Structuring with India team
4) Contract execution and closing support
5) Post-investment reporting and investor relations
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of experience in real estate funds, investment banking, securities, private equity, or development companies
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
Solid understanding and experience with financial modeling
Experience in cross-border transactions
Preferred:
Experience in emerging Asian markets (especially India)
Knowledge of fund structuring (AIF, SPC, LLP, etc.)
Experience in investor relations or fundraising
Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or Real Estate Appraiser
Ideal Candidate Profile
