As PayPay experiences rapid service growth and organizational expansion, the rapid update of business flow and systems is essential. As a Corporate Engineer at PayPay, you will be responsible for the in-house development of business systems that support PayPay's entire domain extending into the merchant, customer, and authority areas. With a mission to "contribute to the company's growth through technology," we drive development and business efficiency with a sense of overwhelming speed. Our department comprises various roles related to in-house development, from IT strategy formulation to full-scratch app development, and infrastructure engineering, working as One Team.

Future Perspectives on Risk Management
Our mission is to ensure users can use the service with peace of mind. We will maintain systems that prevent misuse while making them user-friendly for the general public. Going forward, we plan to enhance fraud detection logic, including through machine learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate APIs to assess risks within the PayPay app using SaaS services
- Conduct simple coding using Scala, Cql, Python
- Handle negotiations with other teams, specification determination, development, testing, monitoring, and operations consistently
Key Projects
- Development of eKYC anti-social judgment API
- Construction of a system to block transactions of suspicious users likely to be taken over
- Construction of a system to block transactions such as high-value payments and charges meeting specific conditions
- Construction of a system to block transactions of suspicious nature
Tech Stack
- AWS, GCP
- Scala, Python
- Azkaban, Zeppeline
- Maquette (an in-house SaaS product utilizing Kafka, Spark, Cassandra, etc.)
- Experience in promoting projects for business process improvement/efficiency (PM/PL/PMO)
- Experience in custom application development (2 years or more)
- Business-level or above Japanese language skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and smoothly with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Practical experience in fraud prevention in internet services and financial services
- English proficiency (Listening & Speaking)

- WFA (Work From Anywhere at Anytime)
- Primarily remote work (work from home or satellite office)
- Available for nationwide residence
- Super flextime system (without core hours)
- Generally: 10:00 AM to 6:45 PM (7 hours and 45 minutes of work + 1-hour break)
- Weekends, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and company-designated days
- Annual paid leave (14 days in the first year, pro-rated based on entry month, usable from the date of entry)
- Personal leave (5 days per year, (5 days per year/3 or 5 days granted depending on the month entered in the first year)
*Available for personal, family, pet illnesses/injuries, and accompanying doctors' visits, etc., under PayPay's unique special paid leave system - Annual salary system (including some fixed overtime pay)
- Determined based on experience, skills, performance, and contribution according to the company's regulations
