■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

Responsible for PAS developments including governance of vendors to deliver solutions

●Responsible for PAS developments from end-to-end including support IT/ST/UAT as needed.

●Contribute to PAS transformation related to the IT Modernization program in Japan.

●Provide guidance to other development team members as needed.

●Communicate and guide vendor development team to ensure the direction and delivery quality.

■ Experience and Qualifications

●Bachelor of Science Degree – Computer Science or related field

●Japanese language: N3 & above. English business fluency

●Experience: 

-8+ years IT delivery experience

-Tier 1 insurance carrier transformation experience, preferred

- Familiar with commonly used insurance system packages, preferred

●Insurance Knowledge- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance product definition, rating engine, underwriting rules, regulatory reporting

●Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of COBOL/Assembler/JCL/CICS/IMSDB/zOS Connect.

- Mastery in IBM mainframe platform environment setup

- Experience in integration of IBM mainframe and open systems

●Leadership:

- Exhibits confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well with excellent coaching skills.

●Collaboration:

- Ability to operate and have credibility with business partners

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability for productive collaboration across varying departments. Comfortable building relationships, internally and externally

●Passionate and mindset:

- Self-motivated and self-sufficient with growth-mindset

- Comfortable in voicing his/her opinion and representing the viewpoints of others in a productive manner
