職務内容
- Lead end‑to‑end development for core policy administration systems on IBM mainframe platforms.
- Design, code, test, and maintain applications using COBOL, Assembler, JCL, CICS, IMS DB, and related technologies.
- Oversee full system development life cycle activities, including integration testing and user acceptance testing (IT/ST/UAT).
- Contribute to a major IT modernization and PAS transformation program in the Japan business.
- Review application code to identify critical defects, provide robust fixes, and improve overall quality.
- Collaborate closely with business partners and IT leaders to understand requirements and propose best‑fit technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and coaching to other development team members.
- Direct and govern external vendor development teams to ensure alignment on architecture, standards, and delivery quality.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues and support smooth production operations.
理想の人材
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of IT delivery experience, ideally within large‑scale or Tier 1 insurance environments.
- Strong understanding of insurance domains such as product definition, rating engines, underwriting rules, and regulatory reporting.
- Deep hands‑on experience with IBM mainframe technologies: COBOL, Assembler, JCL, CICS, IMS DB, and zOS Connect.
- Proven experience in integrating IBM mainframe systems with open systems and modern architectures.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding internal developers and managing vendor teams, with strong coaching and communication skills.
- Ability to build credibility with business stakeholders and collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments, dealing constructively with ambiguity, conflict, and change.
- Language skills: Japanese at approximately JLPT N3 level or above and business‑level English.
