Ahead Group is seeking a skilled Senior Operations / Deployment Network Engineer Network Engineer to deliver technical support and engineering services in the network infrastructure domain. This role focuses on troubleshooting network performance issues and collaborating with regional and global IT teams to enhance the delivery and operation of IT infrastructure services. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of LAN, WAN, and security infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 technical support to resolve network infrastructure issues, including network connectivity and performance problems logged in IT ticketing systems.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement post-mortem corrective actions for network incidents.
- Collaborate with Global Service Desk (1st/1.5 Level) and 2nd Level Managed Service Providers to improve service quality.
- Act as a subject matter expert for network infrastructure services, including:
- LAN, WAN, wireless networks, and security infrastructure
- Firewalls, proxies, and IP services such as DHCP and DNS
- Work closely with project teams to deliver IT network infrastructure services and ensure seamless implementation.
- Analyze incident data to identify opportunities for improving user experience and optimizing network services.
Required Skills:
- Technical expertise in:
- Cisco WAN routers and LAN switching
- Cisco wireless LAN platforms
- Palo Alto firewall and VPN platforms
- Microsoft Azure Active Directory, O365, and AWS environments
- Mobile Intune for MDM Administration
- ServiceNow tool platform
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
- Solution-oriented and a team player with the ability to work in an international and intercultural environment
- 5 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework for Incident and Problem Management; ITIL v4 Foundation Certification is a plus
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Desired Skills:
- Experience with project management, including tools like Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with Citrix or My Workspace environments
- Strong analytical skills to leverage incident data for network improvements
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification or equivalent knowledge
