【募集の背景 / Purpose & Scope 】
Protein Sciences is a technology platform-based unit in Engineering Small Molecules (ESM), focusing on ligand discovery and MOA analysis based on state-of-the-art technology platforms. Multi-disciplinary teams serve as the bridges between target molecules and lead modalities.
We are currently recruiting a Scientist I with a knowledge and experience in assay development and screening. The candidate will focus on some of the following technologies: production of target proteins, structure analysis, assay development, ligand screening or MOA analysis under the supervision of senior staffs.
【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities 】

- Development of assays for ligand screening and implementation of the screening and MOA analysis
- Production of recombinant proteins for assay development or structure analysis
- Data analysis, summarization of results and reporting to stakeholders
- Participation in program-related meetings and contribution to the progress of the program through presentations, suggestions and discussions
- Research on the latest drug discovery technologies and introduction of useful technologies for programs
- Ensuring daily experiments to be complied with internal and external laws, regulations, and compliance standards

【応募要件 / Qualifications 】
<必須 / Required >
- Ph.D or MS in life science
- 3+ years of experience as a research biologist in the industry
- Background of biochemistry, cellular biology, biophysics or chemical biology
- Strong curiosity, interest, and motivation for the drug discovery research
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and results-oriented team environment

①基本給:当人の経歴・技術・技能等を考慮して決定
②裁量労働制の場合:裁量労働手当として職務グレードに応じて 50,000 ~ 100,000 円支給
③フレックスタイム制の場合:月間の所定労働時間を超えて勤務する時間に対して時間外勤務手当を支給
① Base salary: will be decided by the candidate's experience, skill and capability.
② When Discretionary Work System is applied: Discretionary work allowance will be paid.(50,000 ~ 100,000yen, based on the Grade)
③ When Flextime System is applied: Overtime allowance will be paid for time worked in excess of prescribed working hours.
