The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a key field-based scientific resource and technical expert contributing to Clinigen's position as a leading medicines access company in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key medical experts in therapeutic areas such as Podiatric and rare diseases.
- Collaborate with physicians to drive medical affairs initiatives, including publications and investigator-sponsored research.
- Provide medical input into advisory boards and review speaker presentations.
- Conduct landscape mapping activities to develop an understanding of current patient care in target therapeutics areas.
Main Tasks & Activities:
- Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations with key medical experts.
- Collaborate with physicians on medical affairs initiatives.
- Provide medical input into advisory boards.
- Conduct landscape mapping activities.
- Study Group management on post-marketing-surveillance for launched products.
Customer Insights:
- Collect and communicate key customer insights to internal teams.
- Serve as a scientific resource to disease experts in applicable therapeutic areas.
- Train Clinigen staff on key scientific and medical topics.
- Solicit and share best practices to enhance team productivity.
Medical Information:
- Deliver medical information responses to customer enquiries.
- Maintain the Medical Information Database FAQ and Standard Responses.
Knowledge and Compliance:
- Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Clinigen products and competitor's products.
Administration:
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and compliant with standard processes.
- Complete required reports within designated timeframes.
Requirements:
- Medical/PhD/Pharmacology/Science Degree
- Previous Medical Affairs or MSL experience desirable
- Advanced understanding of a relevant therapeutic area
- Understanding of the Medicines JPMA Code of Practice
