Job Summary: Liaises and supports development of Key Expertise Experts (KEEs), provides high quality medical and scientific support to internal and external customers, manages Phase IV studies, and maintains high level of scientific and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaises and supports development of KEEs
- Provides medical and scientific support to internal and external customers, including advisory board meetings, training courses, and literature research
- Manages Phase IV studies and ensures proposals align with medical objectives
- Ensures study projects align with Brand objectives and transfers planned local medical activities to physicians
- Maintains high level of scientific and technical expertise and develops knowledge of medical literature
- Prepares and presents critical reviews of scientific publications and congresses
- Completes documentations to ensure knowledge preservation and uses tools to develop and follow up on strategic measures
- Monitors competitor activities
Required Experience & Competences:
- Master's degree or above in medical science or clinical medicine
- At least 5-10 years of scientific professional experience in Medical Affairs/Research department in pharmaceutical companies
- Ph.D in medical science or clinical medicine
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in oncology area as Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with pre-/post-launch activities
Technical Competencies:
- Scientific acumen: Demonstrated scientific mastery in prior therapeutic areas of focus
- Strategic acumen: Good understanding of strategic needs of affiliate organization
- Statistical & data interpretation acumen: Able to understand and interpret data, form own opinion, discuss with KEEs
- Compliance acumen: Good understanding of and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
