We are seeking a Medical Services, Sr. Specialist to join our team at Organon. This role is responsible for triaging and responding to inquiries from healthcare providers and external stakeholders, as well as managing promotional review processes.
The Position
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Responding to or triaging unsolicited on-label and off-label inquiries from healthcare providers and other external and internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring that responses to medical inquiries are high-quality professional communications.
- Setting up standardized answers for frequently asked questions or routine requests in collaboration with Medical Advisors and Medical Science Liaisons.
- Researching, assessing, and compiling responses from published and unpublished literature to create clinical support in a fair, balanced, and scientifically accurate format.
- Reporting adverse events and product quality complaints to the appropriate departments.
Responsibilities
Medical Information
- Triage and respond to inquiries from healthcare providers and external stakeholders.
- Ensure high-quality professional communication in response to medical inquiries.
- Develop standardized answers for frequently asked questions or routine requests.
- Research and compile responses from published and unpublished literature to create clinical support.
- Report adverse events and product quality complaints.
DPOC (Designated Point of Contact) Process Management
- Ensure receipt, classification, and routing of product inquiries.
- Maintain accurate DPOC database.
- Generate and report DPOC monthly key performance metrics.
- Identify gaps within medical information process and provide rapid resolution.
- Support and train Medical Advisors/Medical Science Liaison and other staff.
Medical Review
- Manage promotional material review and approval processes.
- Be knowledgeable of regulations governing promotional materials.
- Ensure timely completion of medical review of materials meeting company policies and country regulations.
- Provide compliance leadership and training to country staff.
Requirements
Experience and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical experience preferably in medical information, contact center, medical review, or related field.
- Experience in women's health related products.
- High level of scientific and ethical integrity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of domestic regulations and industry codes.
- English: Business level.
