    • You Will Be Responsible For
  • Represent RIJO Financial Services and liaise where necessary with senior management at WHQ
  • Actively investigate, pursue and implement or recommend ways to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and security of financial operations assigned to RIJO
  • To effect timely reporting of financial information to WHQ for general ledger closing, and the preparation of RI and TRF Financial Statements
  • Develop, implement and maintain financial reporting systems
  • Maintain the system of internal control for Rotary International
  • Responsible for approval and releasing of daily disbursements
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all RIJO daily, weekly and monthly financial tasks
  • Review and finalize the monthly bank reconciliation
  • In coordination with WHQ financial staff, establish and maintain operating policies, practices and procedures to ensure adherence to proper internal controls encompassing the integrity and security of all financial functions of the RIJO
  • Keep abreast of current technical accounting knowledge and managerial expectations to assure best practices within RIJO Financial Services
  • Liaise with Audit Services for internal as well as external audit activities and provide necessary support
  • Maintain banking relationship with Rotary bank accounts
  • Facilitate WHQ treasury interactions, , the research and implementation of banking and vendor cash management systems, developing bank relationships
  • Document and update all policies and procedures related to financial transactions of RIJO as needed (minimum annually)
  • Support RIJO manager in preparing annual RIJO operational budget
  • Provide training to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in coordination with relevant WHQ staff
  • Supervise a Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator, including performance management and development
  • Ensure the integrity and security of all financial functions of RIJO
  • Timely revision of employment regulations in accordance with changes in taxation, social insurance, payroll, and labor-related legislation in Japan.
  • Business support to the Foundation Association Japan (PIIF)·
  • Other projects and duties as assigned by RIJO Manager
