The Senior Product Manager, JP B2B Payments is responsible for delivering new innovative financial services to our customers.

This role will build JP Amazon B2B Payment & Lending product roadmap and deliver new product launch by partnering with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

The unique point of this role is to collaborate with external business partners in order to identify new business opportunity as well as create product solution that fuel our customer's business growth.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter that can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment. The candidate must be a fast learner, who can quickly absorb the nuances of Amazon's varied payment offerings.

She or he will gain experience in leading internal and external stakeholders and drive strategic discussion with leaderships to prioritize the project she or he own with using persuasive data analysis.

She or he should have experience working in a cross functional environment such as working with sales, marketing, legal, external partner, engineering, and international counterparts.

Keys to success for this role include strong analytical skills to identify the untapped opportunities, problem solving skills as well as project management, comfortable working in ambiguous situations, and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly to senior leadership, along with an intense customer obsession.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both for English and Japanese
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
  • Experience in developing leads and analyzing segment opportunities for B2B customers
