Department Overview
At Rakuten Market Planning Department, we work to create the future of Japan's largest e-commerce marketplace. We are considering from various perspectives what the shopping site of the future should be like and what kind of positioning and services we should create to be the store of choice for customers.
As the external environment changes over the medium to long term, we will create the ideal form for logistics services in Rakuten Market. Changing logistics in Japan's largest marketplace will have a huge impact, and the work will attract a lot of attention from society.

Why We Hire
We are on track to reach the minimum level that needs to be created as a logistics service for Rakuten Market. Therefore, we would like to raise the level of our services in the next phase, and we would like to find a partner who can help us achieve this.
Position Details
The team consists of 4 to 5 people, and there are several divisions related to our own logistics, including the warehouse and the last mile, and I would like you to lead the team by coordinating with these departments and coordinating strategy with the field.
Strategy planning for the business in charge
Development of business plans and consideration of business models in collaboration with other business departments of Rakuten Group
Project lead for improving existing services
Platform development (realization of a delivery environment that meets various user needs, etc.), etc.

The department will have approximately 5 people.
I am also in charge of strategic planning and some aspects of system operation.
Employees in their 20s to 40s are active.
Mid-career employees come from a wide variety of backgrounds, including consulting, IT vendors, and research companies.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Experience in service planning and operation design at a business company/consulting firm
