Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in our Japan office. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist customers in processing sema-fone payments and provide various support services to both internal sales team members and external customers. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Process sema-fone payments for customers in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide support to sales team members and external customers by assisting with quote preparation, order tracking, backlog processing, invoicing, returns, discrepancy resolution, and resolving customer credit problems.
  • Identify, investigate, and participate in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, including key performance metrics.
  • Ensure good customer relations are maintained by resolving customer claims and complaints fairly, effectively, and in accordance with consumer laws.
  • Maintain and update electronic and/or hard copy records as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Work Experience:

  • Typically requires a minimum of two years of related experience.

Education and Certification(s):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English (both written and spoken).

Distinguishing Characteristics:

  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
  • May require fluency in more than one language.
