Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux-based servers to ensure stability, performance, and security.
- Install, configure, and update software tools and system packages.
- Set up and manage NFS (Network File System) for shared storage environments.
- Create basic shell scripts to automate routine operational tasks.
- Monitor system health, performance, and logs using standard monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot system, network, and service-related issues and provide quick resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and operational needs.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for system configuration, security, and documentation.
Qualifications
- 5+years hands-on experience in Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar).
- Practical experience with software tool installation and package management.
- Solid understanding of NFS configuration, mounting, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to write basic shell scripts for automation (bash, sh, or similar).
- Good troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving system or service issues.
- Experience with system monitoring tools and performance tracking.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in global team environment.
- Fluent in both Japanese (JLPT N2+) and English (TOEIC 750+)
