We are looking for talented invidual to join Marsh Japan as FP&A Manager to lead the M&A and Growth Strategies. The position is based off Tokyo, Japan. This is a role that has hybrid working requirement of working in the office at least three days in a week.

M&A and Growth Strategy FP&A Manager ‐ Marsh - Tokyo, Japan

We will count on you to/ 期待する役割:

  • M&Aプロセスの開始から終了までを監督し、条件交渉、取引書類の確認、法的・財務的なデューデリジェンスや契約の手配などを行います。
  • 対象企業の会計および税務事項をレビューし、社内チーム(日本・リージョン・グローバル)および外部アドバイザーと連携し、潜在的な買収の徹底的な評価を確保することでデューデリジェンスプロセスを管理・支援します。
  • 財務モデリングと評価の演習を主導し、詳細な評価作業を行い、現在および潜在的なリスク含めた分析を行います。日本のGAAPと米国GAAPの違い、収益認識やその他の関連問題を分析し、これらの違いの実務での適用を検証します。
  • 会計および税務業務のサポート、統合計画を支援し、クロージング後の成功を確実にします。
  • その他、通常財務活動として、年間予算編成および四半期ごとの予測プロセスを主導し、正確さ、タイムリーさ、そしてビジネス目標との整合性を確保します。財務パフォーマンスを予算、予測、過去の期間と照らして分析し、主要な要因や分散を特定します。ビジネスリーダーと協力してデータ収集、ビジネス要因の理解、財務計画活動の支援を行います。また、日本国内、リージョンまたはグローバルのステークホルダー向けに財務報告書、ダッシュボード、プレゼンテーションを作成・提示します。

What you need to have / 必須条件:

  • ファイナンス、経営学、経済学または関連分野の学士号または修士号。CPAやCFAなどの専門資格はプラスです。
  • M&A、コーポレートファイナンス、投資銀行、プライベート・エクイティ、または類似の役割で5年以上の専門的経験。FP&Aやコントローラーの経験は有利です。
  • 複雑な取引を分析し、明確な推奨を行う能力を持つ優れた財務分析、モデリング、評価能力。
  • 財務諸表および会計原則に関する高度な知識。
  • 複数の案件や段階を同時に扱う優れたプロジェクトマネジメントスキル。
  • リスクを評価し、シナジーを特定し、取引価値を評価するための強力な分析的思考力。
  • デューデリジェンスプロセスの専門知識。
  • ビジネスレベルの日本語と英語力
