Job Summary:
The Electrical and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects related to electrical engineering and BESS operations. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities to drive innovative solutions in energy management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of electrical systems and BESS projects.
- Oversee the integration of BESS with existing grid infrastructures to optimize energy efficiency and reliability.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion within set parameters.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality services.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical reports to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all engineering practices.
- Provide training and support for engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze energy performance metrics, proposing improvements as necessary.
- Drive innovation in electrical engineering solutions and energy storage systems.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certifications in energy management or electrical engineering are preferred.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on BESS.
- Proven experience in project management and successful delivery of engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of grid systems and renewable energy integration.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
